Narration · Ambient · 2026 2:46
Guided Meditation
Custom narration + original ambient cut
Result: Proof-of-concept that unlocked custom narration for client work without studio time.
A guided meditation with custom narration over ambient nature footage, produced start to finish in an afternoon.
ElevenLabs CapCut
⏱ ~3 hours
Why I made this
Wanted to test ElevenLabs against my actual voice and see how convincing it is at narration length. Verdict: convincing enough that I'd use it for client projects when I don't want to be in the studio.
What I learned
Voice clone needs a clean 30-second sample with varied intonation, not a single flat reading. The script matters more than the tool: pauses and pacing have to be written in.
What I'd do differently
Record a longer voice sample (60+ seconds) with more emotional range. The 30s sample I used handled calm narration but couldn't do anything with weight behind it.

Wedding Film · 2025 15:16
Mr. & Mrs. Fitzpatrick
Full-day shoot + edit + score
Result: Played at the reception, both families wept.
A friend's wedding, captured end to end. Shot, edited, scored. One of those days you don't want to compress, so I didn't try to.
The brief
Capture the whole day, no music-video pacing, let moments breathe. Cut a long-form film the couple would actually rewatch ten years from now.
What I learned
Audio is half the wedding. Lavs on the officiant + couple during vows is non-negotiable. Score sits under, never on top of, real moments.
What I'd do differently
Shoot a second camera angle on the vows from the start. I rolled solo and missed reverse shots that the cut wanted later.

Wedding Film · 2021 ~15:00
Mr. & Mrs. Lipman
Full-day shoot + edit + score
Result: Couple's parents asked for copies the next morning.
A second wedding film for another close friend. Same intent: let the day breathe, no music-video edits, no compression for compression's sake.
The brief
Similar to Fitzpatrick: long-form, score-under-moments, no manipulation. Slightly tighter edit since the day had more compressed pacing on the ground.
What I learned
Second wedding film taught me to shoot more b-roll early (golden hour before ceremony). It gives the edit places to breathe between key moments.
What I'd do differently
Get the song picked before the shoot, not after. Knowing the score in advance changes what b-roll you capture and where you let moments land.

Photo Montage · 2025 9:45
40 Year Anniversary Montage
Photo montage edit + custom score
Result: Played at the 40th anniversary dinner. Both moms cried. Got booked for two more milestone montages from people who were there.
Forty years of photos for a couple's anniversary. The brief was simple: make it feel like flipping through their albums together, scored to a song they love.
The brief
Forty years of personal photos turned into a montage. Should feel like the couple flipping through their own albums together, not like a slideshow with a stock track.
What I learned
Chronological order is almost always wrong. Group by emotional beats (childhood, courtship, family, milestones), then thread the timeline through. Audience cried; mission accomplished.
What I'd do differently
Scan everything myself instead of trusting client phone photos. Half the images came in at thumbnail resolution and I lost detail blowing them up for HD.

Yoga Video Edit · 2026 Video edit
Marissa Joy Wellness: Yoga Video
Edit + cut from raw footage
Result: Posted to her channel and used in client onboarding for new wellness clients.
Marissa Joy Wellness shot a yoga session and brought it to me to cut. Quiet edit, no flash. Let the practice carry the piece.
The brief
Raw footage from a yoga session. Cut it into something that sits well on her site and in social: calm, breath-paced, no music-video editing.
What I learned
Editing yoga is about restraint. Cuts on breath, not on beat. Holding shots longer than instinct says is almost always right for this kind of content.

Behind the Scenes · 2024 3 clips
Baby Photoshoot: Behind the Scenes
Photography session + process video
Result: Process clips converted two parents into bookings within a week of posting.
Three short clips from photographing kids and families. Less polish, more process: how the moment actually gets made.
The brief
Document the session as it happens. Show the kid finding their personality, the parents finding their pose, and the photographer adjusting in real time. Sell the experience, not the polished output.
What I learned
Kids respond to the photographer's energy more than to the props. Less direction, more reacting. Process content sells the session better than finished photos do.
What I'd do differently
Shoot tighter on the parent/kid moments, not just the kid alone. The interaction is the selling moment, not the isolated portrait.

Dogs of New York City
Photography series + brand identity · 2018–2019
Result: The same visual system applied 91 times built brand recognition faster than any single hero shot could. Proof of how I think about brand discipline at every scale.
Built a photography project shooting every dog I walked in Manhattan. Designed the brand from scratch: logo, custom hand-lettered overlay on every frame (name, age, weight), consistent portrait composition. 91 portraits, 2,500+ followers built organically.
The idea
I was walking dogs around Manhattan and the same thought kept coming: every one of these dogs deserved a portrait. So I started one. Built it into a system: shoot the dog, edit consistently, overlay name + age + weight in custom typography, post.
The brand
Designed the logo (an apple with a dog-walker silhouette, a riff on NYC's Big Apple), the typography system, and the visual rules. Every post followed the same template so the grid would read as one body of work, not 91 separate photos.
What I learned
Visual systems compound. A consistent overlay applied 91 times built more recognition than any one perfect shot. The discipline of the template was the brand.
