Designing the brand before building the shop.
The instinct is to open Etsy and start listing. That's the wrong order. Brand identity had to come first — the shop needed to look intentional from day one, not like it was figured out along the way.
Key insight: The first logo direction was too generic — it could have belonged to any creative shop. After reviewing Ashley's actual product aesthetic, we pivoted to something bolder and more distinctive. The final mark is immediately recognizable and scales well across Etsy banners, packaging inserts, and social media.
