All services are offered via telehealth. I am licensed in North Carolina and New York, with PSYPACT authorization in progress for multi-state practice.
I offer individual psychotherapy for adults and adolescents dealing with a wide range of challenges. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and attachment-based frameworks — tailored to what each person actually needs, not a one-size treatment protocol.
I have particular depth working with women navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity questions, and reproductive health. This includes perinatal mental health (pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, and pregnancy loss), as well as the hormonal and relational dimensions of women's health that often go underaddressed.
I also work with adolescents and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, and the general difficulty of figuring out who you are.
Coaching is goal-oriented, forward-focused, and available to anyone — regardless of location or insurance. It's a good fit for people who aren't in clinical distress but want a structured, expert thinking partner as they navigate professional challenges, career transitions, or personal goals.
My background in clinical psychology and behavioral science means I bring a depth of understanding about human behavior, motivation, and decision-making that most coaches don't have. I understand the science of how people change — and I use it.
I also offer career consulting specifically for people who are considering entering the mental health field — graduate school applications, career path clarity, and what the field actually looks like from the inside.
Comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations provide a detailed picture of cognitive functioning — attention, memory, processing speed, executive function, and more. The goal is clarity: an accurate diagnosis, an understanding of strengths and challenges, and a roadmap for moving forward.
I have extensive training in neuropsychological assessment, including two years of supervised doctoral extern work in both a private neuropsychology practice and a hospital-based neuropsychology service at Stony Brook Medicine.
I am a private pay practice and do not accept insurance directly. I can provide a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt with the necessary codes) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse a portion of out-of-network therapy costs — it's worth checking your benefits.
I am currently licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina, which means I can see therapy clients who reside in North Carolina. I am in the process of transferring my license to New York. I am also working toward PSYPACT authorization, which will allow me to practice telehealth therapy across approximately 40 participating states. Coaching services are available to anyone, regardless of location.
All sessions are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You'll receive a link before each session — all you need is a device with a camera and a private space. Many clients find telehealth more convenient and just as effective as in-person care. Research supports this, particularly for therapy.
Therapy is a licensed clinical service aimed at treating mental health conditions, and it requires me to be licensed in your state of residence. Coaching is goal-focused support — not clinical treatment — and is not regulated by state licensure, so it's available to anyone. If you're unsure which is the right fit, we can talk through it in a free consultation.
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation so we can get a sense of whether we're a good fit before committing to sessions. There's no pressure and no obligation.
I ask for 24-hour notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee. I understand that life happens, and I handle exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost before you begin services. As a private pay practice, I will provide a written Good Faith Estimate at least one business day before your first session. If your final bill is $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute it. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
