The Problem

World-class credentials. No one could find her.

Marissa is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a specialty in pelvic floor health — a niche with high demand and low competition in Denver. She had clinical training from NYU, 200-hour yoga certification from Bali, and a growing patient base built entirely on word of mouth. But without a website, she was invisible to anyone searching for pelvic floor PT.

In healthcare, credibility is everything. A patient dealing with something as personal as pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, or incontinence needs to trust their provider before they ever pick up the phone. Without a professional online presence, there was no way for Marissa to establish that trust before the first appointment.

  • No website — completely absent from Google searches
  • No way for prospective patients to vet her credentials
  • No explanation of her services or what to expect
  • No contact or booking mechanism beyond a phone number
  • No content to educate patients or build organic traffic
  • No patient testimonials surfaced anywhere online

The Build Plan

Not just a website. A full patient acquisition system.

Before writing a line of code, I mapped every touchpoint between a potential patient discovering Marissa and booking an appointment. Each gap was a build requirement.

01
Discovery & Trust
How does a new patient find Marissa and decide she's the right provider?
❌ Before: No web presence. No Google footprint. No way to be found.
✓ After: SEO-optimized site, credential display, patient testimonials, full bio.
02
Education & Warmth
Pelvic floor PT is misunderstood. Patients need to feel safe before they reach out.
❌ Before: No content explaining her approach, services, or what therapy looks like.
✓ After: Services page, FAQ, "What I treat" section, and 3 published blog posts.
03
Contact & Conversion
Interested patients need a frictionless path to reach out and book.
❌ Before: No contact form, no structured booking, no clear call to action.
✓ After: Intake form with topic dropdown, email, social links, clear CTAs site-wide.
What Was Built

Every page. Every word. Built to convert.

Marissa Joy Wellness homepage
Homepage

Full-bleed hero that earns trust in 3 seconds.

The homepage leads with a professional portrait in a garden setting — warm, approachable, human. The copy beneath it does one job: tell a patient with pelvic pain that they've found the right person. A dual CTA ("Work with me" / "Learn more") routes visitors based on how ready they are.

  • Full-bleed hero image with location + specialty callout
  • 4-service grid (PT, yoga therapy, consultations, ongoing support)
  • "What I treat" condition list with soft CTA
  • Brand quote section establishing tone and philosophy
  • Patient testimonials from 3 real patients
About and blog sections
About + Blog

Credentials that build confidence. Content that builds traffic.

The About section surfaces Marissa's full clinical pedigree — Cornell undergrad, NYU Doctorate, GCS specialty, 200-hour yoga certification — alongside her story. Patients in this niche want to know their provider is serious. The blog supplements with three SEO-ready educational posts targeting high-intent search terms in pelvic health.

  • Full bio with Cornell + NYU credentials surfaced
  • Credential tag pills (PT, DPT, GCS, 200RYT, Denver CO)
  • 3 published blog posts: pelvic PT explainer, breathwork, postpartum
  • Categorized (Pelvic Health, Yoga Therapy, Postpartum)
  • Read time displayed — signals depth and expertise
FAQ and contact form
FAQ + Contact

Answering objections before they're asked.

Pelvic floor PT carries stigma and confusion — many patients don't know if they need a referral, what to expect, or whether internal exams are required. The FAQ section addresses every hesitation head-on, reducing friction before a patient ever reaches out. The contact form routes inquiries by topic, making follow-up easier for Marissa.

  • 5 FAQ items covering the most common patient hesitations
  • Accordion interaction — clean, not overwhelming
  • Contact form with name, email, topic dropdown, message
  • Email + location + social links in footer
  • Instagram and LinkedIn linked throughout
The Result

A website that works as hard as she does.

From zero web presence to a fully realized digital practice — a site that ranks for pelvic floor PT in Denver, converts visitors into inquiries, and communicates Marissa's clinical excellence before a patient ever steps into the room.
